could i use any sidemarker from honda? or only certain types?

Id really like to use a TL sidemarker.. which stays on.. and blinks when signaling left or right..

i think that is only possible with a relay. on our car it's either wired to the turn signal, or the running lights.

I opted for the turning signals.

also, if anyone has ANY doubt about this template.....it is perfect. This template is only good for the DC5 marker, i believe. if you cut the way it shows, you will have a perfect fit. i did my car and another this past weekend and they came out mint.

the type of sidemarker doesn't matter, its how you wire it that will cause it to stay on, or blink on when you use your turn signal, or stay on and blink.

Sorry...I'm a big noob when it comes to wiring. That's why i'm in medicine! hehehe
Relay or a dual filament bulb( not available in this size from my research) are the only two ways to get that result.

it depends how u want them to blink. depends on where u put the wires. most people wire sidemarkers up wrong. they arent supposed to stay lit, then blink. they are supposed to stay off, adn blink with the blinker

Yes I modified this template for the Dc5(rsx) side markers. And thanks for the good word on my modified template. For anyone that might doubt the sizing Gimme did multiple cars using mine and all came out perfect and sexy.

Due to the styling of our body lines I think that the tl side markers would not flow well. BUT yes you could do any side marker from any honda pretty much, just need the proper template or the patience to eye ball it up. The blinking and staying on is through a relay on the TL. At least thats what it looks like from the wiring diamgrams ive studied. Im workin on making this work on our cars, just need the time and a garage to do it. As some here can vouche, im pretty good with wiring so I hope to have the solution soon.

i see that the DC5 sidemakers would probably match up the best in my opinion. i have never attempted to wire anything.. whats the difficulty of wiring my to turn signals/parking light?

hardest part IMO, pulling the bumper off to get to the turn signals

Lol but you have to admit it was pretty fun. Well I'll be getting my HID kit soon and have to take the bumper off anyway for that so I can look into this then. If your serious about letting me use your facility to accomplish this task id be more than happy to bring rental fee's in the form of beer. Everyone wins

hahaha that shit was awesome though.

For those that have any concerns with Lunar's template I CAN VOUCH that they are perfect fitment. It was used in two seperate wrench meets with 100% success which included install in my car as well. No issues!
