What is this....?

Hi

This was on my sweetie's passenger seat after an oil change. Can any of you tell me what it is, where it goes, and whether or not I should try to put it back?

Thanks!

It's meant to draw in air for the factory air intake system.

I would be asking the place that did the oil change WHY that happened. Why that would be removed?

To just put it on the passenger seat? How long before anyone noticed it?

Very strange.

Very sloppy and unprofessional. At least tell you when you picked up the car.

Consider it lucky that they left it in the car. You might have never known the difference if they misplaced the part.

That happened to my 09 Fit. I raised the hood one afternoon and the two or three front clips has broken off. The intake was still attached to the hood being held by 2 remaining clips towards the cowl. Easy fix, just replace the clips,
