oil funnel

After dribbling oil all over my engine I decided to find a "funnel" that fit snugly in the oil filling hole. I found that a bottle of Castrol GTX oil with its lid on was a perfect fit. All I had to do was cut off the bottom of the bottle and drill a 3/4" hole in the lid with a spade drill so the oil would flow through. I found this empty bottle in the garbage can outside my local auto parts store.

I had the same problem at first but then i learn. I hold a small funnel with 1 hand and pour with the other.

PS: I like your idea alot better than paying 30.00 bucks for an OEM tools pretty green color Honda oil funnel! Not sure why you had to drill a hole. Take off the cap and you have a hole! Should work with any brand container.

Leaving the cap on and drilling a hole in it made for a tight fit in the oil fill hole. It makes the funnel stand up.
