Replacing Battery Fuse Terminal

So my Brake, Turn, and Hazards Lights are all not working. Car won't even get into gear. This happened last year. Fuse box had to be replaced. It was very expensive

I check all the fuses inside the car. All good.

I then check the Battery Fuse Terminal. Sure enough the fuse that would supply all those things is corroded completely through.

It is my understanding that the entire terminal would need to be replaced. How difficult a job would that be to do on my own?

So a less then year old fuse terminal is already corroded through? That is not normal.

I know that this is a year old but since I just did this job yesterday and there is no answer here, I thought I'd give a quick response so that anyone googling it will find this thread useful.

Take two sizes of wrench/socket. 10mm and 14mm.. About half an hour for the non-skilled.
Remove the negative cable with a 10mm.

On the positive terminal of the battery is a red cover. It has three clips. Pull it off.

The terminal fuse assembly has 1 x 14mm and 4 x 10mm. Loosen all of them but don't worry about removing the wires from the posts just yet.

Now remove the positive cable with a 10mm.

Remove the battery to make the next bit really easy. 10mm for both nuts holding the battery in. The plastic battery tub just comes out.

Now with the positive battery terminal fuse box free to move around, all of the cables attached will come out nice and easy with a minor fight.

Installing the new terminal fuse box is simple. The cables that you removed are keyed so that you cannot install them in the wrong place.

Update: The fuses in the positive battery terminal are not replaceable. It is one solid unit.
