Windshield cracked!!

I just made a trip from San Diego to Dallas and a truck hit my windshield with a rock, and I have a huge growning crack now! I called and no 3rd party windshield replacement company has the Fits windshield yet. So, I called Honda and they want $500 for the windshield!!! Does anyone know any place that might have the windshield?

Check with your insurance company. Our policy covers 100% of all glass damage, and we had a windshield replaced in my wife's 96 Civic Coupe at no cost to us just last year after a similar incident.

I just had my windshield replaced by Safelite. They had it in stock and replaced it the day after I called them. Unfortunately the replacement was defective (visually distorted) and they didn't have another one. I'm now waiting for them to get another one (early next week). They are available from other manufacturers than Honda as the one I got was made by PPG.
