Drain plug fell out

Hay everyone,
My drain plug fell out on my way to work today. Noticed alot of smoke out the back, thought I had a flat tire. Serviced at the dealer two weeks ago.
Pulled over and seen oil coming from underneath. Had it towed to the nearest dealer and they fixed it for free, they will bill the other dealer.
I am going to the other dealer after work and I don't think they will be happy to see me.....I am Pissed!

Anyone else, this might be a problem?

I did find the crush washer off the drain plug and it had not been tightened.
I have always did my own oil changes but I thought I would let the dealer do the first two. WRONG> I will keep doing my own from now on.
AC

Just another example of why I dont trust dealers...very sad, but true. I hope there are no REAL damages to the internals of the car and that you stopped shortly after you thought you had a flat. Good luck at the dealer!

wow, it is really pain to hear the story like this. even though you stop the car right after you noticed something is wrong, chances are damage has been done already to your engine. is the drain plug completely fall out? running a engine without oil just for couple of minute is more than enough to do some serious damage to all the internal part of engine.

im sorry to say this but your engine will never be the same. the person who worked on your car should get fired. even though i had free oil change, i didnt bring my car back to stealership. i just dont like anyone touch my car.
