hi...i have just recieve this taillight but i kinda know how to install this and kinda not...i was lookin at the other post and explaning how to DIY this...but is it the same as other JDM style taillight???

no it's not the same. Since this taillight is exactly like the OEM taillihgt but a clear lense and led's, u should have NO PROBLEM with extending any harneses or what not. The problem with the JDM taillights is that the signal is placed way at the top of the taillight so the harness doesn't reach, so u have to extned it. Same with the backup light. But for this one, the turn signal and backup are in the same position as the oem place. Everythign should be perfect all u gotta do is remove the 3 bolts and 1 screw from the bottom and switch out the taillights. If u get it completed, please post some pictures because i was considering getting these taillights and i don't think they look too bad.

fitfit123, I am looking at the same ebay listings and debating between clear smoke or red ones. How is the install going? Do the connections look the same as OEM? Any wire extensions needed? Can you please post some clear pics of the back side of the light where connections are. Are the LED sections accessable for repairs or are they sealed. I am also curious to see them on your Fit! The fact I like them so much is because they look like OEM until they light up!

You should upload some pictures of your fit after you hv installed them !! Btw, where u got them ?
