DIY fuel filter

Hi. Did anyone had any success replacing the fuel filter for Fit/Jazz?

I am interested to do that DIY but had seen no writeup/confirmation that it can be done DIY.

The online service manual states that a special tool is required but mentioned nothing of removing the seats, which I presume is not necessary but would help.

Has anyone actually done this DIY, and succeeded?

Of course, the alternative is to pay $$$ to get it done at the workshop.

Thanks.

EDIT: just saw that it says "fuel filter"

Sorry, I read oil filter. I need to sleep before posting next time. Sorry about that!

Thanks for the info. Have you done it yourself?

The manual did not mention removing the seats but I guess that allows easier access as the space between the seats is very tiny, even with the handbrake & central panels removed.

It sounds like work that will take the better half of a day to finish.
