Unhappy Noise under Fit...HELP

I have a question for everyone. My Fit is a 07' 5 speed sport w/ a few performance upgrades. My oil has been changed twice both times using Mobil 1 and currently I stand at 5,500 miles total. My mods are aspec cai, megan header and megan axle back. I do drive it hard sometimes but other times I just cruise.
Starting to hear a squeal under the car. But it is weird because sometimes it will do it and sometimes not! Took it 2 the dealer and they said it is the exhaust flexing? Could this be true? I have never heard this before on any other cars I have owned and upgraded. In my mind it sounds like something in the clutch....but not slipping at ALL. The car shifts perfect. It is almost like a continuous squeak.

Thx

can you be more specific? does it do it when its wet outside? is it coming from under the car or in the engine bay? you said under car, but the clutch is not located under the car

Worn brake pads? Bushings? More info is definitely needed.

if it's a continuous squeak then maybe it's the wheel bearings (was that what they're called?). but with only 5,500 miles total i don't know why you'd already have that problem. also, i'm curious why you've already had 2 oil changes when you only have a total of 5,500 miles. but try to figure out where the sound is coming from first.

Unhappy Noise

Thanks for the replies. The squeaky continuous noise I believe is coming from under the car. My first notice was driving in first gear with the driver window rolled down and my left ear listening closely...it seems to be happening in the first two gears.
Sounds like damn rusty parts under my car moving around. My brake pads do not make any noise..that I know (good shape). I do not understand....car runs great...but when it has been run for a bit...starting in first gear and slowly releasing the clutch a noticible rusty squeaky continuous..rolling motion noise (I think ). But how can I be sure if the noise is coming from under the car and not the engine bay.. ??

Thx for the help....hope this help a little better.

Ok, so to me it sounds like your release bearing on your clutch may need some greasing, or if its happening when you push in the clutch pedal maybe you need some grease on your pedal

Smile Megan

Yeah could be the MEGAN PRODUCT HEADER...but I ws under the impression that it would sound like a rustling garbage bag if there was some kinda leak?
Is this something (greasing) that I can request at the dearlership or is this something that I can do?
Thx again.

Its probably the combination of the Megan header and the OEM cat converter. Remember the Fit doesnt have a flex pipe, it has 2 flex bolts that mount to the header. Those bolts have 2 springs that meet the cat flange

Thats probably what youre hearing.

Smile 2 Bolts

Thanks for your reply! I know those two bolts...they were a pain in the butt to turn (felt like forever)...but yes I remember those. Should I torque them tight er?

Thanks again.
