Question Megan Axle-Back Q&A

Hello fellow fitfreakers!

I'm seriously interested in the Megan Racing axle-back exhaust setup.
I love the looks of the dual tips but i'm curious about some other aspects:

The picture shows a donut gasket and spring bolts... but are they included??? it's no big deal if they arn't cuz i can get an oem gasket for cheap. Also, were there any manufacturing defects or flaws when you recieved it.

Finally, the all important question is... Is it TOO loud. I've considered the Tanabe touring cuz of noise levels but i wanted something a little louder than stock. Is the noise intrusive and just plain loud??? I don't want to attract any unwanted attention (cops)

Ive had mine on for about 4 months now, and really love the thing! Looks good, sounds great. And no its not loud AT ALL! Very subtle exhaust, but gives a nice aggressive sound to the Fit. Above 4k rpm it sounds amazing!
The thing is for me, it may be too subtle! Im kinda wanting something with alittle more noise. Im thinking about selling mine soon. If your intrested, let me know.

the bolts and gasket are included - or at least came with mine
they are not needed tho unless you are changing all pipes to megan
if you are only doing axle back then use the stock bolts and the gasket
the gasket should be pretty clean still so it should be ok, and i think its welded on to the pipe

ive got an auto too and its never too loud
the sound kinda reminds me of a boat. lol

It doesnt make any noise at all. My friend has it on his Fit.
If the gasket is not included Im sure you can use the OEM one without leaking problems.

The only thing I noticed about the exhaust is it sits a little cock-eyed. Every pic I see and being behind my buddy Jon's Fit last night they all sit the same way.
The left of the muffler is a tad lower than the right. Maybe its an illusion of the eye?

I just installed my megan axleback + header yesterday.
Very mellow smooth tone, not loud at all. I say its slightly louder than stock when cruising around town. Mine came with the donut/spring hardware but I just re-used the stock ones. Oh, and no flaws or leaks on my megans.

Yupp thats an illusion haha. Mine is sitting damn near perfect if not perfect. I would go crazy if it was cocked to the side a bit.
And yes, it definetly makes noise thats forsure. No doubt its louder and sounds deeper then stock.

But it doesnt really make noise... Haah! Its louder than stock but quieter than having no muffler on the Fit. No muffler on the Fit isnt even loud IMO.

donut gasket and bolts were NOT included in my package.

the weld quality is sub-japanese, but much better than
most of the european welds ive seen.

the tone is not that great. to me it sounds like a cheap
universal muffler... this is not a compliment.

but it looks good, so that's why i have it on my car still.
i prefer less noise. the deep resonance is noisy especially
early morning when my neighbors are asleep.
