Car Cover

Ok so basically i keep my car outside 24/7. day, night, rain, shine, its always outside. i wash it and it gets dusty and the paint goes flat in 2 days max, so i was thinking, should i get a car cover? does anyone here cover their car?

Use the "search" button. Many, many, many posts on car covers.

Do you by chance wax your car? That should help a bit. (not that I would know anything about that...haahaahaa)

other than that I am pretty sure this has been covered (as in a bunch)
go to search type in "car cover" in the Tags section...VIOLA!
good luck

The OEM Fit cover is a good one. You can get it online for around $155.

mine resides outside 24/7. i just wash it whenever i can, ideally once a
week.

as mentioned above, best to keep a good coat of wax on it.
I use PrimaHydro whenever i wash the car on my driveway.
(kinda hard to do in the winter...)

ps: dont bother using quick detailers on commuters. just wash it.

Just a heads up, not sure about your neighborhood but in my area there used to be two cars parked outside with covers. After a few both covers were stolen, so now they are no longer covered. My car sits outside 24/7 as well but because I know covers are easily taken, it never crossed my mind to get a car cover.
