I just bought a new 2007 Fit and I want to remove the center vent on the left side to repair the vent fins they have come off their track. Before I do something stupid trying to pull the center vents out. Does anybody here no how to uninstall the center vents. By the way the guy I bought it from said that he put napkins in the glove box and that they got sucked up into the a/c system. So he was at the dealer letting them remove the napkins from the system and he says that they damaged the vent at that time and didn't set the fins back in place.

I would love to be able to fix this small flaw on my own.

Check here. THis was to replace the hazard switch, but shows exactly what you want. If you read further in the thread you will see that others have just used small screwdrivers rather than the picks.
