Q:Clunk sound Jazz CVT
Two days ago, I noticed "clunk.. clunk..clunk.." sound from undercarriage when I shift from N to D/S/L from stop position. The sound comes out after the car being used for several KMs and does not appear when I shift from N to R or when the engine temp. is cold.
Anyone can help to explain what happen with the transmission?
Is it because of the CVTF was overfilled? I check the CVTF level using the dipstick and it is over the "Hot" level even when the engine is cold.
FYI. The car was just perodically serviced at 40K KMs 3 days ago. I changed the CVTF at 5K internal and flushed at 10K interval.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

i heard this in my MT fit, it started about 6 months after having the car. ive heard a few others have been hearing clunking sounds also...but all in MT. im not sure if its the same sound as the recording is a little distorted. i do hear a clunking sound coming from the front of the car when shifting out of first gear to neutral, aomd sometimes from R to neutral in my MT.

Could this be one of the engine mounts?
I had one go on my WV Jetta and it made a sound that was kind of like this. If the rubber in the mount wasn't formed correctly there could leave be a void that allows metal to metal contact, and a clunk. This is what they fond at the garage on my VW.
On an older, rear wheel drive car, I tore the rubber on the crossmember mount that holds up the tail of the tranny. This sounded the same also. I was kind of hard on that car, but it sure was fun!
