what do you mean by look clean?

But it will fit with the inner ring uncut too right?

I mean clean as in there will be a gap, and the inner ring will be visible when installed. but yes it will fit with it uncut, just not look nice IMO

since the shaft is bigger will this work on the T1R short shifter?

I have the Si boot on a T1R short shifter and it works fine.

Four year bump for a dumb question. Which way are the stitches supposed to face? In one picure the one stitch is facing towards the front of the car and in another picture the one stitch is facing towards the back of the car.
