at what mililage do you change your stock intake filter?

or u just change it at every oil change?

 

I believe it is every 20k but I would at least check it at every other oil change.

 

depending on your area and conditions. i changed my fiance's after 10,000 miles. we had a lot of wild fires last year. the ash and smoke made the filter dirty in no time. so if you live in an area with high amounts of dust or dirty air, i would check it regularly and consider getting an after market washable drop-in filter. it will save you money in the long run.

you should check the filter every year or every other oil change.

If the filter element gets uniformly black I change mine. Our dusty season is winter when all the road salt and cinders fly around.
