i'm half way through mine. no pics yet though, i've only cut out the baffles so far. next step is to replace the stock box's inlet/outlet with 2.5" pvc pipe. then i'm going to wrap it in aluminum-foil, preheat my oven to 375, and bake it with onions, carrots, and potatos, basting it every 15-20 minutes for two hours.

i'll get pics up when i've finished

I haven't done anything to the top yet...planning to just sand that smooth, with the inter-box as well.

Does it actually work? I mean, is there any noticeable improvement?

I am contemplating building my own cold air induction kit in GRP or CF but not sure if I'll have the time to do it. So if this actually works it would save me having to build the CAI kit.

Question Wrong flow...

Interesting,
I'm a newbye in engines, but can't see why on earth the airflow has been designed so full of bends and passing just above the hottest size of engine (just above exhaust!).

So I'm interested in your pics and would propose a setup moving "forward" the TB, and a new manifold removing lot of bends.

Does the ugly "photoshop" make sense?

i understand your concern but i'm not going to spend an ass-load of money relocate the throttle body for little to no benefit.

all i did was cut out the air channels inside the intake box and sand it down so it's a smooth surface. i gave up on changing the inlet/outlet to 2.5" pvc to look as oem as possible.

Thanks for reply, and do you feel any effect given by smoothing?
