Anybody replaced the stock shocks???

I'll be hitting 70k miles soon. Just wondering when people are deciding to replace their shocks on the Fit. I feel like the ride is noticeably sloppier lately but new shocks are a fairly big investment (especially since i probably can't install them myself).

I'm pretty close to you in mileage at 66K and the last thirty have been with Skunk2 springs. So far the stockers are holding up fine, although the fronts are wearing noticeably more than the rears. I have been saving my money for a set of the T1R dampers and i will be doing them myself, but I hear you on the major expense thing. Stock shocks with stock springs can be expected to last 100K or better, depending on how bad your roads are. You should only be seriously worried about changing them out if you are getting weird tire wear and excessive wheel bounce on rough pavement though...

Thanks for putting in your 2 cents. I will probably wait until around 100k miles before changing them, but I don't want to end up with too many maintenance items to do at once for budget reasons. I am planning on having the valves adjusted at 100k also. I took my '01 Civic to 175k miles on the original struts and I really felt like by that point it had become dangerous.
