DIY, replacing all the lower fenders, covers and shields, (maybe flaps also)

Hi,
I aquired my 2007 Base Fit MT, second hand, imported from USA.

Its a excelent machine, but has all kind of missed and non working parts, actually I'm importing the parts for the lower part of the vehicle's front.
those are:
SHIELD, FR. SPLASH 74111-SLN-A00
FENDER, FR. (INNER) (both sides)
COVER, FR. BUMPER SIDE (both)<<< necesary?
COVER, FR. BUMPER (LOWER) 71105-SLN-A00 <<< necesary?
STAY, FR. FENDER (both sides)<<< necesary?
PLATE, AIR SCREEN (both sides)<<< necesary?
SPACER, FR. BUMPER (both sides) <<< necesary?

from the door hinge, mud reaches all.

mud reaching motor place

from top, there should be the shields

now the inner fenders of the weels

inside the front bumber

from the floor, at least radiator has something to protect, dented.

here has an accident, cracked bumper.

mud over the light support body

water is a constant on the light.
from floor to top inside right weel, inner fender missing

from top to botom, front shiel missing here or the lower shield (little one)

now the rear wheels, mud guard only or splash+mud guard?

inside left rear wheel

mud guard only or something else?

what are thos brackets ("t" holes) for?

Pins, bolts, plastic holsters will be taked from locals, here are cheapets.
Here are the pictures, please somebody who has made this kind of replacement before or maybe has experience with this would be great.

firstly I will try to put all toghether by my own, if its not possible I will put it in not-so-experts (but experienced) hands. All with pictures.

So, any input will help.
Thank.

Javier

PD: flaps will improve protection for the lower part?

Are you sure that isn't a flood recovery car?

So...
Looks like nobody has done this before, so I will have to buy all the pieces and see what came repeated.
I will document this repair.

I would guess that the car was sitting on some lowered springs at sometime judging from the parts that are needing to be replaced.

Ouch... i would'nt want to see my Fit in such bad shape...
About the "T" shaped slots, i think they are for the lips on the sport model... and for the clips check on ebay to see if you can get a better price... btw there are at least 2 different size...

Still waiting those parts... a problem with my transportation agent.

To gain some time... anyone knows wich HELM manual has the description of what I'm trying to do? the body manteinance or the service manual? I'm talking of puting out (in) the inners shields, fenders and working on the front lower part of the '07 FIT?

You might want to check with Claymore on HondaFitForums.com..... He has on occasion posted text from a Helms Shop manual to help people out.... He lives in Thailand and it may take awhile before he responds but I am pretty sure he will try to give you a hand...

Why don't you go online to Majestic Honda parts online and and look up front body parts. They have an exploded picture showing the location of all of the body parts... It has helped me when I have had to walk off for a few days after taking my car apart and had forgotten where things went when I was able to get back to work on it again... I finally spent the money I needed to and got an used shop manual that has the same pictures and order of disassembly and assembly but that part is easy if you have just the picture.
