Reconnected Battery, strange noise?

Hey everyone,

I got a new 2010 M/T Fit sport about three weeks ago. Yesterday, I disconnected the battery because I was about to install an amp and sub but I changed my mind because it was dark and I couldn't see well. I hooked the battery back up and afterwards I noticed that when I turn the power on (turn the key once), I hear a sound/noise from the front that lasts for like half a second and goes away. When disconnecting the batt, I made sure I took off the negative and then the positive, and then connected positive then negative putting it back on. I have no idea why that sound is there. Any ideas?

The sound is hard to describe. It sounds kind of like a creak/buzz.

did you ensure the terminal clamps were replaced tightly?

Start the car with the hood up and the windows down. that'll help isolate the direction the noise is coming from. Maybe have a friend listen from outside the car.

They didn't seem too tight when I undid the clamps but I can try tightening them some more. Should I tighten to the point where I can't turn the nuts any more?
