Water marks on Seats how to get rid of them.

Hey guys got some waterspots from my dog drulling and rain on the passenger side seat. It is on the gray part you sit on. I have tryed hotwater now i just used 303 on it. Seemed to work but did not get rid of all of it. In the mornings i can still see it. But for some reason later in the day its not there any ideas. I will try to get pics of it on Monday morning. I might just use the 303 again to see if i can get the rest up

Sometimes "less" can be more. IMO with water spots you want to get the "water" out of the fabric, and padding which means absorbing or vacuming it up as well as possible. The first time I cleaned it I might use a little mild soap BUT then I'd just let it dry.

The fear is that if you keep throwing chemicals at it they will stain the padding or fabric.

Try just making sure you've blotted up as much of the water as possible then just wait a couple of days and see what happens. I'm afraid you could make things worse in an attempt to make them immediately better.

If there is a point in the day where the spots are not visible, then that makes me think they are only showing in the morning when atmospheric conditions might just naturally create more moisture in the enviroment. Absorbtion is your friend. You want to lift up whatever is in the pad and fabric. You will not benefit significantly by applying more "things" into that same said fabric and pad.

Hmm good idea but this is not a new thing its been in the seat for about a month now. The seat is completly dry to the touch and shows up really bad in the morning. i might just have to live with it or maybe try a steem machine or something to that nature.

I had some stains in the back seat from the kids and used some run of the mill carpet cleaner (Reslove) to get them out (after testing in remote location of course). Worked like a charm, will most likely work to get the water stains out as well.

Cover with Clazzios.

It will hide the stains, and you can easily wipe away spills/messes with a damp rag.
