Installing the 51-4 Battery
Took out the OEM battery and installed the 51-4 battery and it is 25% bigger than stock. It still fits in the opening. There were a few things to do to make it work.
1. The battery tray will need the bottom edge trrmmed so the larger bat. can extend out further.
2. The positive cable will need to detatched from the bat. top cover (white arrow tip) and where the cable is attached to the metal suport ( push the black clip and pull up) this will give you about 3" of extra length.
3. The negative cable is the one point were the whole placement is started. the dry fit is tight but doable.
4. The tie down is reused and works just like OEM.
5. Enjoy the 500 cca and added size and let's see if this will last more than 3 years like the OEM

Hope this helps B4 you start this upgrade

Thumbs up The new vs. the old battery

The 51-4 is 2"- 2.5" longer than the OEM if you look were the space is between the 90 degree blue elbow on the intake w/ the OEM bat.
(2nd pic>) and that space is gone w/ the new battery. And the OEM has a plastic cover around it too which makes it seem bigger than it really is.
w/ the new bat. I reused the bottom cover to keep the bat. off the meatal shelf that supports the weight of the battery.
The tie down strap is also reused to keep everything in place.
Figure an hour from start to stop and write down your radio code, and reset your ETC.

Humm Don't know You'd have to look @ the pic and then under your hood.
I would think it should fit. I don't have any pix of my car w/ the stock intake IDT?
