Remove Wiper Blade (Not just Insert)
I have a 2008 Honda Fit Sport.
I have searched all the posts and could not find a way to remove the OEM wiper blade to replace with an aftermarket one (RainX Latitude).
Changed it on my Civic, no problem since there is room to push the J out and then through the hole on the blade. The Fit one has no room to do so.
Found a video on YouTube to do it but that shows a different one, maybe 2007. One mine, they J part of the arm is in the middle of the blade, not off to the side. So you can press the tab and slide the blade down the arm but then not back through to remove.

Maybe I am doing something completely wrong. Any help would be appreciated.
And yes, I know I could just go to the dealer and get replacement OEM Inserts. (Which I might do if this doesn't work out)

Ummm sooooo. Just disregard the whole thing.
Ok, I feel dumb. Just went out and looked at it again.
I was tilting the blade til it was at a right degree angle to the arm and trying to remove it like I do on my Civic.
Just have to leave it as it lies on the windshield and press the clip in that position and slide it right out.

OEM inserts have worked pretty well for me for the last several years, and cost less than aftermarket blades too... I snapped off the retainer tab at the arm end of the blade to make it easier to slide them in and out, have had no problem with anything moving without my hands helping.
The rear arm you're going to be stuck with OEM anyway, due to Honda's nonconformist arm end.

Thanks for that throwaway comment about the rear arm! I have been sitting trying to figure it out, with a Costco-purchased Goodyear blade, that came with about a half dozen plastic adapter pieces, none of which match the Honda original. Good thing I kept the receipt!
