True Grit or The Bucket List...
True Grit or The Bucket List...
I've read here, and at several sites how using a car wash bucket with a grit guard is the best way to go if hand washing. I know there are sites where I can order one. But being the Lazy American desiring instant consumer gratification, I've been looking in stores for buckets with grit guards...I can't seem to find any.
I guess I could go to Home Depot and find some wire and make myself something that would work, but I was wondering if anyone knew of a chain or store that simply sold a bucket with a pre-provided grit guard. Given the popularity of car care products I've been suprised at how difficult it seems to find said product.

I remember walmart used to have buckets with grit guards in them but I haven't seen them around in a while.
I bought mine off ebay for pretty cheap (looks like you can get one shipped for around $16-17), it works really well even using a no-rinse method. Usually a ton of black crud near the bottom of the bucket when I empty it.
