2007 Fit headlight problem?

Sorry, if this question has already been asked. I couldn't find it in the search.

At 147K one of the original low beam bulbs burned out in my Fit. I decided to replace both with a set of Sylvania Ultra 9003/HB2. They were noticeably brighter than the stock bulbs but within a few months one of the new bulbs had burned out. I replaced it with the remaining stock bulb and within another month the other Sylvania bulb had burned out.

Could this be a quality/durability issue with the Sylvania bulbs or a possible electrical issue? Recommend Honda replacement bulbs?

Any recommendations to trouble shoot the problem?

Thanks.

Usually the Syvalnia bulbs run at a higher wattage. From my experience they can burn out much quicker and can potentially melt the harness.

I know a handful of others have had Sylvania bulbs without and complaints

Thanks for the reply. I just may have to opt for another bulb brand for any future replacements. Any recommendations?
