Coil #s

Hey everyone!

I just hit 118,000 and the light came up for a malfunction. I checked it and it's more than likely a coil and I'm going to replace but I need help. It was #1, which one is that when you are looking at the engine? Is it the first as I assume or is it the last?

The plugs are in tight from my spark plug replacement near 100k, but it was a a misfire and the engine won't take me gunning it. I can do alright 30-45 but not so much higher. I already cleared the code after the autozone guy took care of it and i used the code reference above to figure it out. I used dielectric grease and they all looked good at the change out but I could assume one could go bad.

I had to take off work today b/c my commute is 140-150 each way and I likes to go 75-80 so I need this fixed. I got a replacement I'm picking up tomorrow (not OEM but pshhh whatever) and then I can toss it on.

Also, anyone who's had them go bad, should I go ahead and get 3 more to have on hand or just 1 more as two failing at once isn't likely?

Thx again for the help guys (and gals)!
