Question Matching paint: What is name of color?

i have a dash kit to replace the factory radio in my 2013 fit which i assume is the exact same color as the 2012. However the kit is a lighter silver color from previous year models, my dash is a dark grey...what is the name of this color?

i wanted to use Dupli color, to me it looks similar to the one called "graphite grey metalic" but need to make sure so i get the right one. There is another called "Phantom grey" which could be a contender too. Then it will be a matter of actually finding it as i'm having a very hard time finding Honda colors in my local stores.

thanks in advance...sorry if i posted in wrong place

You could save yourself some work and purchase a Navi panel form Honda that matches the color perfectly.

OH I love project day as well. You are right it is far from work. The color name matters little since Honda does not make a touch up paint for interior parts.

Meaning one company's graphite grey will be different to another's.

Best bet would be to match the cap to the interior part at the store.

But having said this....our interiors are considered charcoal grey.

For reference to others, i found out the name of OEM dash color. DARK GUN METALLIC.
The black colors are called Graphite Black.

Specifically in Honda colors, no. Closest i found was Graphite pearl, phantom grey, black metallic and Graphite grey.

So i'm going to do as Krunk13 said and just paint it and the upper glove box the same color.
Not sure what yet. I suppose any one of those would probably look ok.
Seems silly for me to pay some $40 for the OEM navigation piece just so i can keep the OEM color. I don't think it would look bad at all with any one of those mentioned But its something i'll have to sit in the car and try to imagine which would work best.
