wash-?-clay-?-wax
i have a milano red 2007 that i bought almost 2 years ago. i've touchless auto-washed it regularly, but never been able to get the deep shine i've wanted. no swirls that i can see, and only a few scratches, but the paint (especially on the hood) is kind of dull/cloudy. i have a meguiar's claying kit on the way w/ some liquid wax and microfiber towels. what i'm wondering is... should i use a polish/rubbing compound between the clay and the wax, and are there other steps i'm missing. again, the "haze" is really only visible on the hood and down near the sideskirts. apologies if this has been addressed in a sticky already, i read all 200+ posts on the waxing one and couldn't find a definite, straight answer. THANKS!
