how to take the battery out

how to take the battery out

I tried using a wrench to remove the negative(black) bolt so that i can d the idle learn but i cn't fit the head in there.. theres little space for the head to go in for a grip.. how are u guys removing the bolt to the batery? i've tried pliers and could not get a grip at all.. help!!

i nut is right next to a metal cap for the battery.. the cap is the one that has a little grease in it and it doesn;t move at all.. theway it's set up is awkward..

Thumbs up Socket is the solution

Works easily with a socket.

Since I used a socket on mine I didn't think about it at the time and was confused when I saw this as a problem. I had to go back, look at it and think about why it could be a problem... I don't have a metric wrench set or I'd of been in the same boat.
