Honda CAre usage
I recently ran over a big rig tire on the freeway and it damaged my car. It damaged the interior temperature gauge and the connectors/sensors and it also damaged my a/c condensor as it rowed under neath my 2012 oddyssey. I have a high deductible for insurance and I also bought honda care 8 year extended warranty.
I'd like to avoid paying the deductible to get it fixed. Does anyone know if honda dealership would fix it under honda care? I have a feeling they said something caused it and it appears to be an impact damage and might not cover it. I'd like to use it since I paid for it.
Are honda dealership pretty anal about claiming through honda care or are they normally pretty laxed? The way i see it is if they get paid to make the repairs, i'm not sure why they would complain about it if theya re fully reimbursed. I just need someone who could overlook the fact that something may have caused the impact. Any thoughts?

Assuming you're in the U.S., and assuming you don't know who is responsible for leaving the tire in the road, you can claim it under your Uninsured Motorist Property Damage coverage, if you have it. If so, there's typically a $250 deductible on UMPD, as opposed to 0-$1000 on your usual PD coverage. Best not to talk about making a fraudulent claim against the Honda warranty...
