coolant leaking from this plug

I'm hoping it's just the rubber hose. I believe the larger blank hose it connects to is metal (hoping it's not leaking from there). Any it's dripping.

Coming from EGR. I'm assuming I would have to bleed the system after installing a new hose. Any idea to stop the flow during install?

You could use vice grips set at a very soft pressure so you don't damage the hose.

It's was a pain in the butt to reach it. The leak was on the rubber host right after clamp. I ended up taking a box cutter on it. Cut off where the leak was and reattached. I did lose a lot of coolant. Planning to refill it tomorrow hopefully the coolant bleeds easily.
