2009 Fit - super slow acceleration

I really do not know anything about cars so my Honda Fit 09 has been acting up lately. It is super slow in accelerating and has a lot of trouble getting over 3,000 rpms and then it'll kick back down to 2,000. I got it to about 4,000 yesterday but it was really rough. I just had my transmission fluid changed and that helped with some of the shifting issues. I am going to get some fuel injector cleaner today, I have seen on other posts that the Techron is fine for a Fit. If anyone has any ideas of what might be going on or something I can do. This is my first car and I it is pretty fair to say I'm clueless. Thank you.

I would take it to a reputable mechanic since you admit you don't know much mechanically. It may need a tune-up, or who knows. Does it make any abnormal noises??

sounds bad, if you cant redline it. Then there is something wrong. Do you have any engine lights on, sounds like limp mode?

You need to have a mechanic drive the car (with you inside if possible).

Post back with the evaluation.
