Sometimes your folding mirror getting not responding when pressing the fold / unfold bottom. Several issues such as wiring, motor or gear problem. In my case, I just open, disassemble all and clean, it comes work again. Some of my friend in the local forum told me to make the video, below the video link. In this case, the wiring is normal all. The possible cause maybe dirty or motor connection problem.
In general, three ways to fix or easy replace:
- replace whole folding mirror unit (around 100 USD)
- replace folding mirror motor module (around 50 USD)
- replace only the DC motor of folding mirror module (around 10 USD)
