3rd Gen CRC GDI engine valve cleaner

Has anyone done the valve cleaning of the GDI engine using the CRC cleaner themselves? I know you need to spray the cleaner between the MAF sensor and the throttle body to avoid having the cleaner touching the MAF sensor at all cost. Has anyone done this? If so how and where did you insert the injector hose?

I have done this before, allow me to help.
There is an easier access location: the PCV hose on top of the intake manifold.
Remove the PCV hose using needle pliers to release the hose clamps.
Make sure to block off the rest of the hose opening with something when sticking your straw through.
I used a small piece of 3/8" hose and two clamps to pinch it off and seal the vacuum.

Good luck.
