Honda Fit sport 2010 A/C problems

Hi, I drive a Honda Fit Sport 2010, and have had the car for two years now. I have never had any A/C problems with it until a few months ago. I noticed that my air had a hard time getting cold when I was driving, then one day the A/C stopped working when you would turn it to the first 3 notches on the A/C knob, but when you get to the 4th and highest knob it blows out icy cold air at full power. Not sure what could be causing this?

Well it just about has to be electrical. I do not have the electrical diagrams to look up how it works. If it is super cold on position 4 then that says the compressor, evaporator, and R-134 charge have to be OK. The 4th position puts the heaviest heat exchange load on the system. Sorry that I am not much help without the schematics;. I have never had to do anything other than recharge them on any Honda and look for leaks. Sorry...

Are you sure that the compressor and cooling fans in front of the radiators are running in position 1, 2, and 3.

Classic sign of a dead motor control module,4 is hte direct power setting the other 3 are through the controller circuit.
Super common since about 2000.
