I installed mine about a month ago and also pissed fluid all over the ground. In fact I drove my other car to get fluid afterwards. Directions were ok but it should say warning you are about to get radiator fluid everywhere. I love it and feel some extra power when I merge on the freeway. I am a Sport AT. To compare here is both and after but not the same day.

I have this intake too, does any one have a problem with their hoods not closing all the way?

Where did you guys purchase your SRI from? Can I just get it from the Fujita online store?

Thanks,

I am a little concerned about the intake rubbing with the hood as mentioned above. Anyone have comments on that?

Thanks again.

i personally dont have any problems with my hood. i have a manual-dont if that makes a difference. i just put it together real loose at first and then tightened everything evenly.

Okay so picked mine up friday and we got it installed yesterday morning. It bothered me that it sat u so high so I took out the lower air box mount and flipped the vibration mount so it was pointing down, the whole unit sits an inch lower.

Sounds interesting. Could you post a photo? I am having trouble understanding how you did that.

I think you were asking me...

I'll snap a pic and upload it. Trying to explain better with words, the bracket is and L bracket that is mounted onto the rods that hold the battery, instead of mounting it like this L I put it in this way 7 but when I was able to get the arm an inch or lower the filter would touch/rub or the black airbox bracket, so we removed it and the filter now has plenty of room.

here it the flipped vibe bracket

here are the the 2 bolts that the mount was attached to in the upper left you can see the radiator hose guide
