Dyno Numbers, Dyno Numbers, Dyno Numbers

Thought there should be a thread for dyno results for the Fit with different products or configurations. Anyone got muffler delete numbers?

Example Start From Ben at AJ Racing TR1 Header Results :

Dyno 1 - Bone stock
Dyno 12 - T1R Intake + T1R Crank pulley +T1R 50S Cat-back exhaust
Dyno 19 - T1R Intake + T1R Crank pulley +T1R 50S Cat-back exhaust + T1R HEADER !!!!

Here the gains from DYNO 19 vs DYNO 12 :
3000rpm+1whp / +1 lbs
3500rpm+2whp / +2.5 lbs
4000rpm+4whp / +4.6 lbs
4500rpm+3.8whp / +3.8 lbs
5000rpm+2.6whp / +2.2 lbs
5500rpm+2.8whp / +3 lbs
6000rpm+1.07whp / +1.2 lbs
6500rpm+ 0whp / + 0 lbs

Here's DYNO 1 vs DYNO 19 :

3000rpm+3.5whp / +4.2 lbs
3500rpm +6.8whp / +8.2 lbs
4000rpm +8.3whp / +8.7 lbs
4500rpm+8.8whp / +8.5 lbs
5000rpm+10.1whp / +10 lbs
5500rpm +12.9whp / +8 lbs
6000rpm+13.9whp / +11.8 lbs
6500rpm+ 14.6whp / + 11.3 lbs

The 38mm piping on the header did biger difference. When we dynoed the 32mm header, the result was same as stock and we only gained a little bit of torque. After we installed the 38mm, we noticed a difference on the dyno right away.

Thanks
Ben

Dyno testing

has anyone dyno'd a Fit after an ecu upgrade from Jet Performance?

So far I have done the following upgrades:
1)Skunk2 catback
2)Weapon R Intake Manifold
3)Megan Racing Headers
4)Injen Cold Air
5)JDM Intake Gasket
6)Brembo rotors
7)Hawk pads
8)Tein Springs
9)Dunlop DZ101 tires
10)Skunk2 radiator & oil cap replacement
ECU has already been shipped to Jet, replacing radiator hoses with Skunk2 in the next day or so

Damn, this thread would of had a TON of potential if people actually dyno'd their parts before and after install, but it is also expensive to do that.

The prices of running a car on a dyno is too high to justify it. Not to mention the gains from certain parts are probably so minuscule that there is a chance the dyno wouldn't even be able to pick them up. For example, fletcherkk's fit probably gained maybe 10 whp from all that if he didn't tune for it. Maybe a little more (14 whp) if he did.

Getting power out of the L15 while remaining NA is pretty much a lost cause unless you're going to truck loads of $$. You'd be better off boosting it for more power with less $$.

Hey fletcherKK,
This thread is a little old but did you ever dyno your car? What were the results if so with the JET? How do you like it? I'm trying to figure out whether I should go this route with bolt ons and a mild Bisimoto or Cat cam or go the Turbo route. I live in the same county as JET so i would be stoked if it helped on your Fit.
Thanks
