this should give you an idea of what it sounds like.
seeing that you have pretty much Spoon mods, how is your catback exhaust? is it loud? if so, does it come with a silencer? I really like the Spoon but I don't want to get it if it's too loud and I can't do anything about it.

Concept G sound question

From the clips posted, the Concept G seems to have a bit less of the traditional fart can sound at higher RPM's than some of the other choices. To me it sounds less fart can than the Touring Medalion (only based on the sound clips) For those of you that are running the Concept G, is this true? Is it really loud? And does the axle back have a additional resonator right behind the flange, then the muffler? And did you notice any difference in low range torque? I know power increases are minimal with just a axle back, but some decrease low end torque, and I really don't want that.

Concept G

When I had the Concept G, it was not loud at all. Sounded great at any rpm and barely hear it when the windows were up. Not too much on the HP or torque gains. For I did not feel any difference from stock. However that was the only component I had on the car.

If anyone wants one, I have one on sale. Check out my ad:

Sir, I believe it's an axle back...

Btw, I wish Tanabe would re-release the Ultra Medallion... =[

Guys,

Why are people paying to get a bolt on exhaust put on their cars? All it takes is a set of ramps/jack+jackstands and a few simple/common tools.... Why pay to instal when you can do this yourself. Save your money, you just payed nearl $400 for an exhaust. Just be smart and safe about it and also have someone with you to assist you and help incase anything goes wrong..

Should be easy to do some people didn't even jack up the car LOL. Pull the two bolts and slip off the rubber hangers and switch them over. You MAY have to take care of the "donut" seal from the old one if your new one doesn't come with one.

Congrats on your purchase! Post pictures up when you're done. Is there other mods that you're running?

No other mods as far as the exhaust is concerned. I'm going to try to remember to get a video of my stock exhaust then the concept g exhaust. I will have the stock header and exhaust piping throughout until I get to the axleback area.

The only other mod I have is the Tanabe front strut bar. Looking to add Tanabe under brace tie bar later on.

Only wish that the Tanabe coilover would fit my 08 Fit but I only have the option of the Tanabe springs to lower the car.

Anyhow this thing will be on tomorrow afternoon!

Finally I have the Tanabe Concept G installed. My friend and I took about 30 min to remove the OEM exhaust and put this one on.

I have video of the OEM exhaust and the Concept G. Will add them on this thread once I have the time. Love it. Nice tone, that can be heard in the car. Yet when I went to a friend's house he didn't hear me coming through like he would have if I put in a louder exhaust.
