Fujita SRI on my FIT

check it out, I installed this thing a few days ago. Looks pretty! My first impression after driving for a day was to get rid of it and put the original back on. This is because I thought it was guzzeling my fuel and because its louder than an exhaust when your stpping on the gas. After a few days though I've decided to keep it because its actually saving me gas, I get an additional 10-20 miles to the tank during normal highway driving. And unless your gunning it doesn't make much more noise than the engine. I like it!

That's awesome, iv'e been trying to decide on a new intake for a while. I have two questions for you though. Have you noticed an increase in throttle response in certian rev ranges, because I have heard of some people loosing some response/torque below 3,000 rpm with an SRI. Do you happen to know if this voided your warranty on the car I know some dealers are more leinent than others but I really want one !

nothing that you add to your vehicle will void the warranty unless it damages the vehicle in some way OR if your leasing the vehicle they tell you up front that you can't modify the car. As for throttle resonse...no change.

wow...10-20 miles more per tank? Amazing. Are you getting this consistently?

untrue...you can have your warranty voided if any none OEM part is found on the car...besides, if you're dumb enough to return to the dealership for work with mods visable, you deserve it...

U should really take some time to read your owners manual. And if your too lazy to do that then go and talk to someone at the dealership...they will tell you exactly what i wrote.

Any non oem part you add to your car, if proven to be the cause or part of the cause of any warranty issue on your car, will be voided. However, if it does not directly affect the problem it will not void the warranty on said problem.

K well first of all, intake will not void your warranty. Exhaust, intake, lowering kits, etc etc will not void your warranty. If you have any questions regarding the warranty, message me. I have a 125k, 7 year warranty on my FIT.

Anyways, I often go to ES Techincal Roadsport and I've talked to one of the guys there. He said that in order to get the most for your money, Fujita is NOT the way to go. It is an American based compay, although itsounds Japanese. Yeah I know... whack huh? In order to get the most for your money, I recommend an AIM COI or Injen COI.

That's because you were supposed to disconnect the hard line and replace it with the silicon ones... not put the silicon line onto the hard line.
