anyways this gauge pod is held on by double sided tape, but requires drilling into the dash to run wires.sensors etc.

mugen also makes a similar gauge pod. but its quite more expensive lol
Thanks for the information. Would you happen to have any more pics of the pod, maybe off the car or something?

There is actually no need to drill holes in the dash. Look closely at my posted photo and you can see that I just put some shrink sleeve over the wires and ran them over to the Dash "Hood". You can cut a very small notch in the bottom of the dash hood and run the wires in there. It really takes just a very small notch because there is some slight clearance below the dash hood. this way no holes in the dash if you decide to sell the fit without the gauge pod.

It really depends what gauges you use. With These K's gauges, theres far to many wires to just hide. These gauges also dont just come with a wire to tap to get a reading as they come with actual sensors that you have to cut open the hoses for, put the sensor inbetween and fix back up.

Anyone install one of these yet or have an opinion on these versus the analog gauge? I am also wondering how much real use of the analog gauge one can get if the boost is only 5psi? Seems like a big gauge that won't really move much. Is it possible to get an analog gauge with a 10psi scale?

Hey Sumo,

I like your install and I will be installing some gauges using the same pod in a few weeks. Would you mind telling me where you drilled your dash and if anything needed to be removed to get the wires to snake through to the ground.

I would hate to drill the dash and find that I've just drilled into an air vent or something like that.

I appreciate any help you or anyone could give me on this.
