jdm turbo kits

say what are the differences of the jdm turbo kits vs usdm turbo kit? the piping should be the same since the engine compartment of the two are same...im not sure of the throttle but does that affect the kits?

The piping is not the same as the location of the DBW throttle body is a bit different and the ECU controller has to be made to accommodate the DBW system. And except for the most recent ones the USDM intake was different than the rest of the world.

The JDM Turbo kit's are identical but you have to expect modifications before you can install to the USDM Fit.

How can something be called "Identical" which means "exactly the same" and in the same sentence state that you have to modify it to install it on the USDM Fit?? Are you saying the ECU controllers are identical also??

thanks for answering, Ben
could you expand your answer? i.e. which part/s need modification? the ecu tuning i'd imagine would be quite different rite? and what else?

Isn't identical means look a like Maybe I should call it similar.

JDM ECU and USDM ECU looks identical (similar) too but the pin out diagram is totally different. The JDM pre-tuned map will make the USDM Fit runs a lot leaner.

Inercooler pipes, intercooler mounting , oil return hose.....etc has to be worked on.
