Looking For Suggestions
So, I am going to be getting a lawsuit settlement in about a week or two. I'd like to get an exhaust setup on the Fit without spending too much money (ie ... don't want to buy the $1000 Mugen muffler).
Any thoughts? I'd like it to not sound ricey.

The new T1R 50S axle back looks pretty nice. With such a large muffler it should be pretty quiet too.
*edit* It is pretty quiet, didn't notice there were vids up in the T1R 50S ver.2 thread in the AJ-R forum.

As I have stated in the past, if you go to a muffler shop and have them put on a custom axle back with just a resonator and tip I bet it would sound good. Nobody has a sound clip around here, but it should cost less than $200, and if you don't like it you can remove it by taking off a couple of bolts.
For other exhaust options you can check out the exhaust clip thread this AWESOME guy posted up.

Yah. I have an exhaust shop about 5 miles from my house. I've never had luck with them though. I put 2 different setups on my 96 Accord (before the roll over) and both needed to go back several times for fixes.
Therefore, I've decided that I want a bolt on application.

best bang for your buck would be the invidia or skunk2.
but if you got the extra dough, for it out for the j's racings or something.
