We will see a modern electric supercharger, but it will end up being a bigger pain than it's worth. For the cost you could easily go with a turbo or classic supercharger setup and make more efficient hp and tq, have higher reliability, and it will last longer.

electric superchargers are a joke imo. Just something else for people to FAIL to do correctly.

It looks like they put an electric motor on the end of the cold side of a turbo. At least it's not the Ebay bilge pump...
