Magnaflow Cat

I told my friend I was planning on doing my exhaust on the Fit and he told me to look into the Magnaflow universal Cat. Anyone know if this would make a difference? It's not a bolt on and would have to be welded. It says universal, does anyone know if it would work on the Fit? It says 49 states legal. Any opinions on this?

i had a magnaflow cat installed on my crx.. i can't say i noticed a significant difference in power but my exhaust was definitely louder. a week later i was pulled over for a fix-it ticket

if you want my opinion, the money spent on a "high-flow cat" is money better spent elsewhere.

my crx was LOUD. dc header, 2.5' b-pipe, no resonator, thermal axleback

before the magnaflow cat i was well over the db level in CA, i guess the addition of the cat was just enough for cops with their windows up to hear me
