Anyone have a grounding kit or BC Race Spec Condenser
Anyone have a grounding kit or BC Race Spec Condenser
I've been reading a bunch of post from other forums that say to connect the three ground wires from the buddy club racing spec condenser to the alternator, valve cover, and throttle body.
But our throttle body is connected to plastic manifold so I don't think that would work very well, and the bolts connecting our valve cover to the head have rubber grommets under them so i'm not too sure about that either.
So i was wondering where people have wired up grounds on their cars.

The Fit DOESN'T need any more grounds that it ALREADY HAS they work just fine and there is absolutely no reason to add more as you have already figured out.
The alternator is already a DEAD SHORT to the engine and chassis no better ground than that and the valve cover is also a dead short to the engine and the engine is a dead short to the chassis and alternator adding more grounds is a giant WASTE OF MONEY.
Unless you are a blinger.
Anyway you can learn more looking through the forums until you find the OTHER ground wire and voltage stabilizer THREADS.

chill man it was simple question.
And fyi according to my voltmeter not all of the stock grounds are perfect, which means more WOULD help.
So i did a search, and you know i found really interesting, everybody that flamed voltage stabilizers, NEVER had one installed.

No way a stock ground can be "BAD" unless the connection is dirty and it's a simple job to remove and clean then rather than adding more after all they are just a simple length of twisted core wire nothing to "Go bad". And FYI they don't have to be "perfect" ( which one of the 4 major ones was not "perfect") they just have to ground. They are engineered by Honda and put in the best positions so the vehicle performs all it's functions perfectly fine without the need for redundant extra grounds. Nothing "magic" about installing grounds no performance gains or other reasons to install them on a vehicle a few years or a year old.
And the people that commented and have never installed one are the ones smart enough to know based on basic 101 electric current flow fundamentals that they do nothing so it would be a waste of money to install one.
I mean you were quick enough to figure out "Grounding" the insulated TB means grounding nothing because there is no charge to ground???? Tell us how you think grounding the Valve cover which is also insulated by a rubber based gasket and is not connected to anything electrical would do anything????
How chilled is that?? Just trying to prevent you from being another sucker that wastes his money on this unnecessary "Bling" but if you feel that way please go ahead and buy them and pick up an electric supercharger while you have your credit card out
