PS and AC - removal?

Hey guys!

What do you guys think about removing PS and AC on the Jazz? Not only will it make it some 35 kilos lighter, but it will also free up some horses..

Have any of you guys tried, or seen anyone do it?

For most of us who lives in the South East Asia, I don't think we can stand without AC, plus we have traffic jam everywhere, I think we need PS as well.

I pretty certain there will be some people looking to do these "modifications" in Canada.

Out of the 3 Hondas I have at home, only one of them has AC which is the current gen CR-V.

What about a cutout on the aircon at full or near full throttle like in the Japanese Type R integra? Wouldn't this compensate for most of the power loss when needed but obviously not give the weight saving.

You could test how the car would feel without PS by just removing the PS fuse.

They are clearly labelled in the manual that came with your car! The location of the 2 fuse boxes are also displayed.

Simply just turn ur A/C off.. Of course produce more power because the electrical supply to the engine is more bigger. Feel hot? just oper ur windows...

But for the EPS, i think not to remove as long as your steering doesn't turn.. Because it is electric.......

Honda apparently will be selling three trim levels in Canada, and the lowest will almost certainly not have AC, to compete with the other cars in the segment that don't have AC standard.
