KraftWerks Supercharger Kit Info v3.0
I've had the JDM front end on since last year. So for all of you who have the JDM front end and put on the KWSC you will notice that the hood wont close. It doesn't close because the KWSC discharge pipe that runs above the intake manifold from the pulley side of the engine to the flywheel side has to large of a diameter (pipe with the KW logo on it). What I did to fix the problem is used an aluminum 1.75" diameter mandrel bent pipe to replace a section of the above pipe. Now everything works perfect. When I first put the KWSC on I was so pissed that the hood didn't close. I changed my oem hood to my cf hood and smashed it closed (in hope that the cf hood would bend). This really did bend the ___ out to the cf hood. The good thing is that it left marks on the discharge pipe so I knew exactly what the problem was.
I used a 1.75" pipe because the SC outlet is around 1.75" and the discharge pipes that lead from the SC to the mentioned above KW logo pipe is also 1.75" od. The KW logo pipe is around 2.5" od because the throttle body is around 2.5" od. By adding a couple of hose clamps, silicone hose for 1.75 od pipe, and the above 1.75 replacement pipe you'll be golden with the JDM front end.
Hope this helps.
Chris this hasn't been said by any one before but I wanted to say thank you for putting your car up as a mule. The KWSC is really the BEST FI kit on the market. I know that the introduction of this kit really depended upon your car. Thank you for giving up your car so that we all could benefit.

That AF is ok. Better to go with engine management for anything more than that IMO, the larger injectors are not needed.

It's really my pleasure to provide that type of information. I dynoed my car with J's header, J's test pipe, J's b pipe, J's muffler, and Last Station's power box. My header and test pipe are coated with Swian Techs "White Lightning." My dyno charts are very similar to Ben's dynos I posted (actually a couple higher). But because of the variance between dynos, humidity, blah, blah, blah. I just say they are similar to Ben's.
Before I purchased the KWSC I compared my charts to Kraftwerks. As eldaino mentioned, these charts really show the benefits of the the KWSC.
For those of you who have purchased full exhaust like me your one step closer to maxing out the sc when the options become available.

No I'm not running the Header or test pipe. Even though I'm waiting anxiously for Tom's dynos (Mugen header, ? cat delete) I will most likely wait untill the Hondata comes out before re-installing them.
Sorry no dynos yet. I've only been up and running for two weeks and don't work as fast as Tom. In addition, I trust what KW dynos read. I will be interested in dynos in the future though.

look forward to seeing them man, if all goes well, you should be feeling a significant improvement once you get it all on!

Can someone who has just the base kit w/out injector upgrade installed on a M/T Fit do a quick test and see what kinda 0-60 times you are getting?
Just trying to compare what im getting with my fit w/the base S/C kit installed.
Thanks.

There are so many variables... what temperature and humidity, what altitude, and how good is the driver, and with 1 foot of roll-out? I figured out this weekend that 63F (night) -> 99F (sunny afternoon) makes ~1.1s difference for my stock a/t! I was sort of disheartened that I may have a hard time quantifying my own mods to a reasonable degree.
Hey Chris, any idea what kind of numbers you were putting down with the 8psi and hondata? 160whp? torque?
I know you said it felt like it was faster than your stock s2000.. atleast I think u mentioned that.

More info will be released from KW in the future.. and it doesnt feel like its faster... IT IS FASTER.
