shift kit for A/T?
i think....
he's reffering to those old school automatic shift kits for the old muscle car meatheads. sure they work for a 2 speed powerglide, but that's considering the engine its mated to is cranking around 1,000hp. its not really necessary in our fits. low power, low torque. if you really want to focus on the trans in a sport auto (or any auto) then focus on the final drive ratio and gearing. also what are you planning on doing with your car that would require a shift kit? dragging isnt going anywhere with a fit. unless you have a K swap, but then why would you be asking a question like this here? if your autocrossing your fit ,you should have got a manual. however, it can be done successfully in a sport auto. the regular old slushbox in the base model is going to be hell to auto-x in. if you have a base model auto, drop the idea of auto-x. that's going to be the general consensus around here. sorry if i've "burst" your bubble. and i apologize if you dont agree with me.
