Installing Mid-Pipes and Test Pipes

Did you guys just jack up your car? I know that some of you
have ramps that you backed onto, and those aren't available
to me unless I go buy some.

i jacked up the passenger side and that was it.
but yes i mean it helps to jack the car up.

ive also driven one side up the curb. so half the car is up on the curb and half is on the road. and i just slide right under.

i mean curbs here are huge.

have you ever just driven on a curb? haha

the car never falls.

the car is just leaning....not much though.

yeah jack up the car. put 2 jack stands on the passenger side and unbolt away.

have a breaker bar or aka cheater bar handy! you will need it.

i either do that from my jack...or use the club.

like i take the extended thing out. and i use the grip part as my holder and i just shove my rachet down into the stem. works like a charm.

i need to buy those ramps that barely lift your car(made for lowered cars) so i can stick my jack under neath it.

its like 60 bucks for those ramps.

something like this to fit your jack under your car.
because i know my 1 1/2 ton jack doesnt fit.
Trak Jax - Race Ramps at Low Prices

but there is a shop online who are selling these for dirt cheap. it raises your car up 3"

but its not this brand though

I back the rear of my car on those ride up ramps (fronts too low)

I then jack the front passenger side up and put in a jack stand. The car basically sits on 3 wheels due to how high I jack the car up. The only reason I use the ramps is to prevent having to jack the rear of the car up.

I dont care. Since theres stand under the car its safe enough for me. Im usually out from under the car quick as exhaust work is cake for me. I do change anything and everything on a 6month time frame.

if you don't want to spend money on ramps just for that, you can also use a block/piece of wood. just drive your wheel onto it to get enough clearance to get the jack underneath the car.

edit: or you can use the blocks of wood to get your car to clear the normal ramps.

I tried doing the lean thing with a tiny jack and failed miserably, those three bolts that connect to the cat are ***!i had absolutely no leverage
