Theres space. Companies like Greddy have great fitment. Ive heard that the Greddy (and others) do leave a burn mark on the lip.

IMO, its exhaust residue not a burn. My old Busa mufflers were right on the rear lip and it never burned it. Just left residue.

Are you sure its not a burn haha
If its sitting on the lip, i cant imagine how it wouldnt burn.

I have had my Greddy Ti-C for over 1 year now.. with the stock b-pipe I had about 3/4"-1" gap between my rear lip (sport model).. I had ZERO issues with burning or melting off the lip.

I recently installed the T1R b-pipe (mid pipe) and it actually moved the tip closer to the lip (maybe 1/2" - 1/4"), I just got back from a 4000mile road trip and I have ZERO burning or melting. And I drove through the desert in vegas with +115 temps.

Also, if you have the silencer installed you can barely hear the exhaust.

I love my Greddy Ti-C.. great fitment and quality. And the sound is super nice. Not ricey or too rumbly.

That's not accurate, because we don't all have the same length finger and it depends on what finger. Just messing.

I think they only leave that black crap on your car when...

1. You don't wash your car regularly
2. You have a test pipe (cat delete)

Am I correct? Lol it just seems that way since the cat converter is supposed to reduce emissions... with no cat, the exhaust would be less clean coming out. Makes sense? Yes? No? IDK? lol

deletes the cat, duh It's just a straight pipe with no cat, increase's noise and exhaust gases but also makes it a whole lot more free flowing
