eitherway congrats
are u on the blue
emanage or the silver one ??
im on emanage ultimate (the silver one). my plan for more boost is to add an oil cooler, hook up the water sleeve on the turbo, colder spark plugs, new fuel pump. i need to make a to do list, a parts list and do more research before i start looking for a boost controller or a new spring.

You should have colder plugs now. A fuel pump will stop the lean condition that T1R is having at 8-10psi.
Im surprised that they havent noticed this....

8psi is plenty safe for the L15.

anyone else hear about no aftermarket controllers being able to change timing on the fit?

All those piggy backs can change timing. The HKS kit was using almost stock timing under boost. A little scary.

im curious if you get forged internals how much could it hold. wonder if this motor could be pushed to 250 doubtful but possibly 300?

i do have colder plugs. my spoon plugs are like a step or two colder than stock. i forget. but i need to replace them soon so when i get new ones, ill get them another step colder just to be on the safe side.

the weak point of the L15 are the thin port walls inside the head. so getting more than 200 safe horsepower is kind of unrealistic.

Great numbers! I'd like to see how much I'd make on a dynopack, but I don't know anyone with it. Good luck on the customizing. I'm in process of doing that, but it will take time for me, low on cash. Go kelsey! Big Baller!

i don't think honda really knew people would be TRYING to put that much power in the little L15,...
it essentially IS a little eco car
i mean, it's a bad ass eco car, but an eco car nonetheless

no, its not that the walls of the cylinder head ports are weak, its that they are super small that getting alot of power out of them is difficult. trying to bore them out is difficult because the walls are thin and it is easy to bust through them or just make them really really brittle.

why should they build every engine with the intent that someone will mod it?

anyway, i can't see the dyno's kelso, but since you physically typed the numbers, needless to say i'm impressed.

so you are at 6psi? does the emanage already come pretuned like that or did you have to up it to 6?

i think the emanage comes pretuned for 4.5 psi but the wastegate spring is rated at 6psi. im not 100% sure about that.

Do you have a psi boost gauge or bar gauge?

its a bar boost gauge but the conversion isnt hard. its like 14psi to every 1bar.
